I was in S.A. in july. I have never experience weather like I did in Texas. HOT....therefore HEAT was a must stop.....and glad I was. Clean nice cute place with lots of rooms and fun great music. Outdoor patio for the smokers with it's own bar, and the AC worked unlike most other places. Great spot

I agree with the reviewer who said there are beauty obsessed people here. That's not always bad though if you're just wanting to get an eye-full but the boys know they're pretty and you must be pretty as well. I think it's a fun place and very clean but like I said unless you're a 10 it's kind of not your scene.

Place where trendy superficial people hang out. as far as the venue goes, it's really nice!! drag shows, pop-y music, if you want to be seen, this is the perfect place for you. take your lipstick fag hags and deranged beauty-obsessed friends here.

There are two gay destinations that are a must in San Antonio! Heat is one of them, the other is the Bonham Exchange. Heat is the newer of the two by almost 2 decades! great interior for SA, good mix of people as well. Barstaff is great, especially Vikki, one of the bartenders. heat is trendy with out being pretentious, very comfortable.

Came here after the Pegasus so already had a good buzz going. They do have a nice patio, and a great bartender back there too! The crowd was younger, trendier, and I felt a bit out of place. Wasn't near as friendly as Pegasus, but had more eye-candy to look at. The music the DJ was spinning was difficult to dance to as well.

This is the most updated bar I've been to in San Antonio...But I was bored....people mill about from room to room ..it's like watching the final episode of Twin Peaks where agent copper is roaming around the black lodge...

Heat by far is the nicest gay bar in town. Always clean Always a friendly bar staff and if you dont know anyone dont worry southern hospitality will kick in by the end of the night and you will meet some facinating people by the end of the night. Friday is 80's night. Sat is really popular night always packed on a Saturday. There are Drag shows both nights in the main dance area but you dont have to go there is the video room if your not into that. There is no cover before 11. Overall had a much better time at heat than any other bar on the strip.
