Pride San Antonio 2014 Theme Logo Contest!!

Pride San Antonio is looking for a new visual identity and needs your help. Pride SA are seeking members of the LGBTQ community who can design a creative, innovative and professional logo for our 2014 theme “Freedom to LIVE, Freedom to LOVE” to be used for this year’s Pride “Bigger Than Texas” celebration. Please read below for more details regarding logo design, contest rules & submission requirements. How to Enter the Contest The contest begins on March 3, 2014. Submissions will be accepted through April 18, 2014 at 11:59pm. Winners will be announced via our website, social media websites and by direct contact to the winner. In order for your entry to be submitted and reviewed by our judges, all entries must be: 1. Submitted directly to contest@pridesanantonio.org 2. Submitted in their original source file and 3. Submitted as a high resolution PRINT READY pdf with 300 dpi or higher Logo Requirements • Professional: This logo will featured on our website, our social media platforms and other mediums (flyers, pamphlets, t-shirts etc). As a result, while we want the logo to be eye-catching, it must still be legible. • Theme: Logo must promote the 2014 theme “Freedom to LIVE. Freedom to LOVE.” • Color: There are no limitations and any colors may be used. However, the logo should look good in color (if any) or black and white, and MUST have a transparent background. • Integrity: Logos cannot contain copyrighted material. Logos must have been created and edited by the contestant(s). Logos may not include images or licensed images that have been previously published. Must be easily reproducible and scalable for large and small formatting. Contest Details Winners will be selected by the Pride San Antonio General Membership. Contestants agree that Pride San Antonio, INC. may publish their logo and name(s) and may use both for advertising campaigns and/or marketing materials in the future. Contestants assign all ownership rights, including all intellectual property rights to the logo, to Pride San Antonio, INC. Additionally, Pride San Antonio, INC. may alter, modify or revise the logo as it sees necessary to achieve the goals of the organization. Pride San Antonio, INC. reserves the right to not select a winner if, in its sole discretion, no suitable entries are received. Prize Contest winner will receive a pair of Pride SA 2014 Season Passes, along with bragging rights, to all of this year’s events such as the NIOSA Shuttle, Grand Marshal Meet & Greet, Pride “Bigger Than Texas” Festival and QFest Film Festival.
