Tamales Holiday Festival at Pearl

Tamales! Holiday Festival, presented by Dos Equis, returns to Pearl on Saturday, December 3rd. It is the seventh annual celebration of culture, music and above all: the tamal. The city’s favorite chefs and restaurants will join over forty tamale makers for San Antonio’s citywide holiday tamalada. The free festival will showcase wide range of tamales, from traditional San Antonio styles to Mexican regional variations and bold, surprising takes on the classic treat. Various Tamales! Festival veterans including Cocina Heritage, Chilito’s and Marioli will join many other vendors to cook up delicious bites for all to enjoy. Additionally, there will be live music from Mariachi Las Alteñas, Los Inocentes, Ile Bahia de San Antonio (Capoeira), and Max Baca & Los Texmaniacs, entertainment and a children’s activity area to guarantee a good time for the whole family. The event is free event is rain or shine.
