This place is all about the hamburgers and they've been serving them up since 1949, well before this was the heart of gay San Antonio. Now it's gay owned and operated and conveniently located - wanna grab some grease after the club, this is your spot.

THE place to hang out or grab a bite

If you are hungry before or after the gay bars along North Main Street, then head over to Luther's Cafe for a quick bite. Try the sweet potato fries (ask for ranch dressing, mmmm). I order the margarita, which is served in a martini glass and comes with the metal shaker (enough for several more margaritas!)

I was not too impressed with this place. The first trip was a bust, so I tried again while I was in S.A for a week. The 2nd trip was better but still not the best. HOWEVER perfect location for when you need grease for your liqour soaked stomach. ;)
