One-O-Six (Closed Permanently)

(21 Ratings)
Nice quiet neighborhood bar to unwind in.
It's a little divey, but the drinks are cheap and the crowd is super-friendly. This is a great hang out for San Antonio's trans community, especially trans women.

great sponsoring bar

wonderful people, friendly staff and great sponsor of the San Antonio Gay Pool League. OneOsix has 2 team and doing quite well, may I add. I love all the bartenders....and my Sea Breeze is perfect!

A Gay

I love it! I'm a regular and I ALWAYS have fun there. The people are interesting and polite, the pool leagues and dart leagues are fun, and Christophe's Bloody Marys...MMMMMM! Easy to make friends.

Welcoming, warm, and friendly.

I love this place. I fly to San Antonio quite frequently and always visit upon arrival and before leaving back to the Panhandle. Decent drink prices, friendly staff, and above all, I LOVE the diversity (older, younger, masculine, femme, TG, White, Hispanic, Black, etc). Great place for a good conversation. AUDIE MAKES THE BEST Martini I've ever had!

Butch-ville

Yes, I like butch guys. I just moved to San Antonio and FINALLY found out where they hang out! It's a good mix of locals and out of towners, and all ages, most of the out of towners I meet there are in the "uber butch" category. So far I've talked to and drank with a big bearded marine biologist from Corpus Christi, a documentary filmmaker from Amarillo with a shaved head who looks like the Devil, a muscled cowboy from Dallas who sells horse trailers (man that guys had stories!), a Latino Asian languages professor from Houston... I could go on and on. I don't like "regular people" like Sarah Palin. These guys are all "regular people PLUS." Like a hot version of the most interesting dinner party you can imagine. Only criticism: it can get chilly!

The Worst Gay Bar I Have Ever Been To

It's true, this is the biggest dump of a bar (gay or straight) that I have ever been to. Horrible bathroom that was dirty, disgusting and had no towels to dry your hands. Trust me, folks...Do Not Bother...Ever.
