Nice
The pros: No smoking, good lighting, good layout, good prices for the drink size. The cons: Bartenders are a bit slow on busy nights and they don't seem all that talented just yet. They had a hard time with a Vodka-7 with Grenadine. But, it's a new place and it's well worth the trip.
Clean and friendly
Love this place...its clean and smoke free!! The best part of it all is that my favorite bartender in San Antonio Serge works there and he serves some awesome drinks!!
SAT's version of JR's
This bar just opened up and it's very nice. The only gay bar in San Antonio where the patrons aren't hideously ugly. And $1 pints of Shiner. This is the only place to go in town.

Newest Bar in Town!
This is not your typical San Antonio bar. A mix between a sports bar and English pub, Sparky's is unique for its well lit atmosphere and non-smoking policy (a first in San Antonio gay bars that needs to catch on!) This is a place not to be missed!
