From the Internet to television our stories are unfolding every day in the media, and the most authentic stories come directly from us. The storytelling power of voices from within our communities engages audiences across political lines and connects the inequalities we share that are shaped by one another.
Marriage equality at the United States Supreme Court level will impact future policy making, and amplify the stories that broke through unjust partisan politics. No matter what the Supreme Court decides in June, Texas lawmakers are pioneering an aggressive strategy to preserve the right to discriminate.
We’re building a group of supporters throughout Texas, ready and accessible to talk about advancing our goals to protect all Texans from discrimination. To be successful, we need the invaluable perspectives of people of faith, business leaders, veterans and first responders, athletes and sports professionals, students, educators and school administrators and everyday Texans.
Join us for a special learning session on how to have those important conversations about LGBT equality with your friends, neighbors, coworkers and others.
